Abstract
Research Institute of Organic Agriculture” started to compare crops since 1978. This institute grew wheat, potatoes, corn, soybeans, and three-leaved grass with three methods, biodynamic agriculture, organic biological farming and conventional farming.
The latest results from “Research Institute of Organic Agriculture”：
- indicate that soil from organic farms emits 40% less greenhouse gas than soil from conventional farms. One ton of organic production emits less greenhouse gas.
- “Objective farming”, including rotation and manure and mud compost, can maintain important functions of soil.。
- In the research, soil fertility is an important indicator (such as pH value, organic matters in the form of humus and micro-organism). The higher the soil fertility level is, the lower nitrous oxide emission is.，Vice-versa. Low-fertility soil can emit more nitrous oxide.
