Taiwan Organic Black Rice

Black rice looks similar to purple rice but darker, also called black brown rice. With higher amylose, it belongs to the low-GI food, not causing as large fluctuation of blood glucose as white rice or sticky rice. Rich in anthocyanin, vitamin B, minerals, phosphorus and iron, black rice has been used as the ideal nourishing food since ancient time.
